審美的美しさとシンプルさの間のユニークなバランスを求める。毎シーズン、商品と共にそのコンセプトが映された作品は’SERIOUS SERIES’ という名前で発表され、時にはアーティストとのコラボレーションに よりグラフィック、映像などでFLAT APARTMENTを表現している。韓国の伝統的な履物ダンへをモチーフにその独特な型をモダーン・コンテンポラリーに解釈したデザインが特徴とする。オリジナルの木型が使われたハンドメイドであり、系統を選ばないシンプルなデザインが特徴的となっている。

ネット上ではリミックスした音源などが人気になっていたLAを拠点とする若手アテーィスト Henry Laufer によるプロジェクト Shlohmo。
ネット上でダウンロードできる彼のミックスを聞いたのをきっかけに、アルバムにも興味をもち聞いてみた。アルバムのタイトル通りいい意味でのBad Vibesが満ちあふれてて、Beat、HiphopやPost Dubstepの要素も入り混じりながら、それを吸収した彼の一貫されたオリジナリティーが全曲に出てた、一つのアルバムとしてかなり聞き応えのある内容。興味のある方はYoutubeなどチェックしてみてください。It arrives in stores soon
